Successful eduroam training event held in Amsterdam

 Tuesday 24 June 2008, Cambridge, UK: A recent eduroam training course, Setting up an eduroam Service Provider, was held on 12-13 June in Amsterdam. Organised by DANTE and TERENA, the course trained a number of participants from some of the European National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) on the installation of the eduroam service provider software in campuses and other end user facilities. This will enable the research institutions to take advantage of the secure, roaming Internet access that the eduroam service provides. The course attendees can also deliver further eduroam training within their countries.
