GÉANT2 Services

The GÉANT2 network offers basic IP services, complemented with advanced services, offering guaranteed bandwidth and quality of service (QoS) levels.

The basic service portfolio provided over the network is outlined in the pages linked below and in the left-hand menu. In planning the new network, increased emphasis has been placed on the provision of guaranteed QoS. More information on the classes of service to be provided on GÉANT2 is available from the Quality of Service link in the left-hand menu.

In line with GÉANT2's increased emphasis on supporting its users, the project is complementing its advanced network services with support services such as the Performance Enhancement and Response Team (PERT) and a comprehensive network monitoring facility.
