The GÉANT Network Services portfolio provides the data communication connections to NRENs for the pan-European research and education community. There are three categories:

• GÉANT IP – this service provides the connectivity to all GÉANT NRENs via the shared GÉANT high bandwidth IP backbone network
• GÉANT Plus – a circuit service providing a flexible allocation of user-dedicated point-to-point connections
• GÉANT Lambda – a service providing full 10Gbps wavelengths to support NREN users with particularly demanding network requirements
