Demos

The drive behind GÉANT2 is to support research activities across Europe and beyond.

To illustrate the capabilities of the network and its role in enabling international collaborative projects, the following network demonstrations will be presented during the event, in the foyer adjacent to the main conference room. More information on each demonstration is available from the links below.

CrossGrid's web-based applications will be used to demonstrate flood forecasting, high-energy physics, artificial neural networks and the project's Migrating Desktop user interface
BioCASE is a web-based information service providing researchers with unified access to biological collections across Europe
This demonstration illustrates the ubiquity of the network across Europe, from Finland to Greece, and also its international connections
This demonstration will show, in real time, pseudo eVLBI data being transferred from radio-telescope sites in the UK, Italy and Poland to the central eVLBI processing site at Dwingeloo in the Netherlands
