Jürgen Rauschenbach (DFN)
Roaming and Authorisation
Juergen Rauschenbach has a degree in mathematics from the Yerevan State University (1974) and holds a Dr. rer. nat. with a thesis based on the implementation of the Transport Layer of the computer network DELTA (1986). In 1990 he joined DFN, and became one of the developers of the DFN IP Service. Since 1997 he has worked in the DFN development project group, where he is mainly responsible for Gigabit Testbeds and Internet-related projects (IPv6, Quality of Service, mobile IP, Voice over IP).
Juergen's current main areas of work are mobile networks, authentication and authorisation, and optical networks. He is leading GÉANT2's joint research activities in the areas of roaming and authorisation.
