GÉANT2 Technical Workshops

The objective of the GÉANT2 Technical Workshops (TWS) have been to enable project partners to exchange information and ideas on the project's technical developments. Each TWS comprises working meetings for each work package with participants drawn from those individuals involved in the project's technical developments, the NREN access port managers and those contributing to the joint research programme.  They currently take place twice a year, each time hosted by a different NREN in their country.

The GÉANT2 Technical Workshops typically run a full week, with a gala dinner and another social activity also arranged to give plenty of opportunities for social networking so important for building relationships between different participants who otherwise only "meet" via email, phone and sometimes VC.
