TNC 2009   The unique collaboration between GÉANT and the NRENs provides a gateway to the network and to high performance connectivity services and applications for research and education users across Europe. GÉANT played a prominent role at this year’s annual TNC conference.

GÉANT Distributed Workshop

Some 14 presenters contributed to the *GÉANT Distributed Workshop*, covering a wide range of subjects on technology and service developments, including perfSONAR, eduPERT and eduGAIN. The Workshops also provided the perfect platform to introduce the new GÉANT project to the community, and the plans to continue to keep GÉANT and its other technologies and advanced services at the forefront of global connectivity and network service innovation.
